The telecommunications marketplace is a busy one with a variety of different systems and vendors. It is tempting to accommodate a number of different systems into a portfolio to try and satisfy a wide range of businesses. In fact the truth is we don’t actually need more than the Samsung OfficeServ to provide any solution any business is ever likely to need.

The OfficeServ is an extremely strong product and our partnership with Westcon Samsung is excellent, therefore unless it’s an unlikely objection to the handset on the desk, we don’t need to nurture another product & partnership at the expense of a successful one.

The original Samsung DCS system was a very successful entry into the telecoms market by Samsung with a large installed base worldwide. The new OfficeServ retains much of the DCS functionality and indeed the original digital handset will currently work* with the OfficeServ.

* Future releases of OfficeServ operating software will not be tested against the old handsets.
